The inductive proximity sensor is composed of high-frequency oscillating, wave detecting, amplifying, triggering and output circuits. As a metal object approaches the sensing surface of the sensor, the oscillation on/off status is converted to electrical signals, which are converted to binary digital signals after being amplified by the shaping power amplifier. The inductive proximity sensor stands out for wide voltage range, high repeatable positioning accuracy and fast frequency response. It also features sound interference resistance, high temperature resistance, and waterproof performance. The inductive proximity sensor is mainly installed in the automatic assembly line to provide input sensing signal for the computer and programmable logic controller (PLC).
